We need you at the Mississippi Animal Rescue League. You hold in your hands the power to enrich the lives of many families and to save countless homeless, helpless and hungry animals.
MARL is the largest, full service society for the prevention of cruelty to animals in our State. Not only do we provide a haven for animals in need, but we also encourage people to add some fun and love in their lives by adopting our four legged friends.
The Mississippi Animal Rescue League is your humane society. We are the agency that is serving your community. We provide shelter for your animals and low cost spaying & neutering for the pets of people on low fixed incomes. We investigate cruelty to animals in Madison, Rankin, Hinds, Copiah, Simpson, Scott and Yazoo counties.
MARL serves as the voice of every man, woman, and child, young and old, who believes in the protection of unwanted pets and wants to see an end to animal cruelty and abuse. However, we cannot do it alone. WE NEED YOU!
In 2006, we provided care for 17,000 animals. Since our doors opened over 300,000 animals have passed through them in need of care, food, a gentle touch, and a kind heart. Thousands have had their suffering relieved, thousands have found their "forever" home and thousands more have been helped through our community outreach programs. What would have happened to these animals if MARL did not exist?
