SUMMER CAMP

If your child loves animals, this is the camp for him or her! Your child will be involved with the socializing, training, and grooming of MARL pets. In addition, campers have discussions with animal experts, dog trainers, guest speakers, and MARL staff. A unique camp shirt, a daily activity, and daily snack are provided.

The limit is 15 children ages 7-12 years old per camp, and the registration fee is $125. We have set up two camp sessions, and the dates are June 1-5, 2010 and June 8-12, 2010.

Please register early because space is very limited. To receive an application for the 2010 camps by mail or for any other questions, please e-mail your name, address, and phone number to samanthag@msarl.org. You may also download the application here. We will mail out applications as soon as we receive your request. The deadline for accepting names for the camp is May 7, 2010.

Corks for Charity

Jeff Good and the great folks at Bravo! restaurant have chosen to benefit the Mississippi Animal Rescue League with this month's "Corks for Charity" fundraiser. All you have to do is:

Drink a bottle of wine at BRAVO!

Enjoy a bottle of wine, and then write your email or phone number on the cork. On your way out, drop the cork in the large cork vase located at the front of the restaurant. Every two weeks they pull out a cork. The winner will have the purchase price of their wine donated to that month's charity, and will receive a $25 BRAVO! gift card.

Pennies for Paws

Our annual Pennies for Paws program will be held February 15-March 15, 2010. This is a great way for schools, youth organizations, Girl Scouts, and Boy Scouts to help the Mississippi Animal Rescue League by collecting pennies and other coins! Begin decorating those collection containers so they will be ready to be filled with this event kicks off! If your class or group would like to participate please complete this form and return to Rebecca Ezell.
